About Myself

Since you’ve visited my blog, I assume you know my name: I am Swarup Saha. Depending on time and place, my name might change, though I won’t say why. I was born during one auspicious Durga Puja in the month of Ashwin. Perhaps as a bonus, God blessed me with twice the amount of laziness compared to my intelligence.

I have yet to meet anyone lazier than myself. I am so lazy that I don’t study all year, not even the day before an exam—nor on the morning of the exam day. I start studying just two hours before the exam begins. Haha!

What kind of person am I?

I consider myself a very good human being. :p While I don’t stick with most people for long, I still have 3-4 friends I’ve been close to for over a decade and one girl friend I’ve been with for more than eleven years. If I feel hurt by someone, I simply stop talking to them, almost completely.

I have a pretty good ability to empathize with people’s pain in a human way. I’m honest, lazy, incredibly loyal, devoted, and envious—but not greedy. I dream a lot—both day and night. Whenever I get the chance, I lose myself in dreams. I listen to a lot of music. I also have an innate tendency to take charge and lead.

I lack patience, am restless, but I have immense faith in myself.

I spend most of my days alone in my room. However, I do enjoy mingling with people, especially those who are quiet and reserved. I love hanging out, walking, and even dream of cycling, though I don’t know how to ride one. Still, some say I’m antisocial because my lifestyle doesn’t align with that of an average person.

Some peculiar traits of mine:

  • If someone does me even a tiny favor, I remain grateful to them for life. Conversely, if someone harms me without reason, I make sure to repay them—with interest—before I die.
  • I don’t sleep at night or during the day. My sleep schedule revolves around dusk—when the day ends and night begins.
  • I consider myself a highly knowledgeable person, so I’m always dispensing advice to others
